owx software package provides utility to program Wouxun dual-band handheld radios, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install owx
owx is installed in your system.
Make ensure the owx package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep owx *
You will get with owx package name, version, architecture and description in a table
